Selection of impeller design, size and rotational speed will determine the success or failure of your process mixing result. Tank or vessel geometries as well as process requirements will dictate quantity of impellers and correct positioning within the vessel.
Impellers can be welded to shaft or suppplied loose when the positioning will then be chosen by the customer. Impellers can be cast or fabricated, polished or unpolished depending on the end user requirement.
Each impellers design will have unique flow, shear, thrust and power draw features. Selection of the correct impeller or impeller regime will optimise the mixing, gas dispersion or solids suspension process.
